Criminal Traffic Offenses:

In addition to DUI charges, Attorney Steven G. Horneffer also defends individuals and businesses charged with a variety of traffic offenses, including:

Most of these violations are enhanceable offenses, with escalating penalties for subsequent offenses. For example, a third Driving While License Suspended or Revoked is a felony. Even a third Civil Infraction may result in a Habitual Traffic Offender Revocation of a driving privilege for five years with no hardship license for at least one year. Once again, holding the state to the strict requirements of the law results in excellent plea bargains and outright dismissals. The state is prone to overlook the requirement that most violations require proof that persons or property were endangered by a defendant’s allegedly careless or reckless act.
